1. Shipping Zones
We currently ship to the United Kingdom and European Union. We are working to expand our shipping offering further — please check back for updates or subscribe to our newsletter.
2. Order Processing
We ship orders from our Aberdeen, Scotland office Monday to Thursday. Orders placed before noon (GMT/BST) will generally be dispatched the same day. All other orders will be processed within 1–2 business days from the date of purchase.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location and circumstances outside our control, such as adverse weather, postal delays, or customs processing times.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of your order and the shipping method selected, and will be clearly displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
We may offer free shipping promotions from time to time. Check our website or subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
5. Important Notice for EU Customers — Customs Duties and Import VAT
As we ship from the United Kingdom, your order is being dispatched from outside the European Union. This means your order may be subject to customs duties and import VAT upon arrival in your country, depending on the value of the goods and your country's regulations.
Please be aware of the following:
- Import VAT is typically charged on goods entering the EU. The rate varies by country but is generally 20–25% of the order value.
- Customs duties may also apply depending on the product type and value. Orders below €150 are generally exempt from customs duties (but not import VAT) under EU rules.
- These charges are levied by your country's customs authority and are entirely outside our control. We are not able to predict, calculate, or cover these costs on your behalf.
- You are responsible for paying any customs duties or import VAT before or upon delivery. Your carrier or local customs authority will contact you if payment is required.
- If you refuse to pay applicable duties and the parcel is returned to us, return shipping costs may be deducted from any refund issued.
We recommend checking with your local customs authority or postal service for further guidance before placing your order.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, your shipping confirmation email will include a tracking number. You can use this to monitor your delivery through our courier's website.
7. Delivery Issues
If your order is delayed, lost, or damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible at lineageneedles@gmail.com.
- Lost or significantly delayed orders: We will investigate with the courier and work to resolve the issue promptly. UK customers have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if goods are not delivered within the agreed timeframe. EU customers have equivalent protections under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
- Damaged orders: Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our Returns Policy.
Please note that delays caused by customs processing for EU orders are outside our control and do not constitute a failure to deliver on our part, though we will assist wherever we can.
8. Change of Delivery Address
If you need to change your delivery address, please contact us immediately at lineageneedles@gmail.com. Once an order has been dispatched, we may be unable to redirect it, though we will make every reasonable effort to help.
9. Returns and Exchanges
Please refer to our [Returns Policy] for full information on returning or exchanging items. Your statutory rights as a UK or EU consumer are not affected by this policy.
